Create and Update Columns for Dynamically Calculated Variables

LRSi allows for creating dynamically calculated variables and, as the name suggests, these are variables that hold data that come not from the PLAR, but from calculations performed using one or more of its variables.  An example might be “Circulation per Capita,” which is the result of dividing the total number of items circulated by the LSA population.

Remember:  when work with the preliminary (Federal) data, LRSi will only create calculated stats whose numerators and denominators are present in that dataset, therefore it is necessary to perform this operation after every new dataset ingest.

To create columns for calculated stats and perform calculations, visit the “Create/Update Columns for Dynamic Statistics” page in LRSi at https://www.lrs.org/public/data/tools/create-dynamic-columns/.
